It seems waving to the world with your right hand while closing your eyes is the Wheeler way to greet your parents for the first time. Dark hair, a button nose, and some jaundice are also transferable traits.
By two months of age the resemblance is still apparent, although Matt wins in the weight department and Kate wins in the race for who has the most hair:

You'll be waiting for a while. Sylvia is ALL Sylvain and his mother (although she does love to sing...he he). But MARGOT is all ME!!! Lesson? Have a second child. Chances are they will resemble you and not your husband.
ReplyDeleteI think Kate has your chin and mouth :). It's like the opposite of Ellie - she has my eyes/hair, and Pete's mouth; whereas Kate definitely had Matt's hair and eyes. Can't wait for that bebe to come to Kentucky - come on July!!

ReplyDeleteAnd there's hope - people keep telling me Noelle looks more and more like me as she gets bigger. Poor thing still has her Daddy's eyebrows - but at least she has a mom who understands and will help her groom them when she's ready, lol :)
