Whatcha looking at?

In the last week or so Kate has realized that there is a whole big world around her of things to look at and discover.  Her favorite things to gaze at are ceiling fans, lights, windows, and her stuffed panda bear (I think it's the contrast of his black and white fur that she finds so fascinating).  She also has started enjoying her activity arch from Laing, the other morning she finally spotted the baby in the mirror while she was under it and couldn't take her eyes off that cutie's reflection.

Wait a minute!  There's a pretty baby in that mirror looking at me!

When you hit the shapes it lights up and plays music, although I don't think Kate has made the connection that she's the one causing it to go crazy, understanding cause and effect is a bit advanced for her at this point.

Hello friends!  Are you singing for me?

I'm not sure who has more fun, her looking at the toy or us looking at her while she looks at it.  Here are some of the adorable faces we captured while she was mesmerized by all the sounds, colors, and the mirror:

She also loves to focus on our faces, and we are more than happy to stare back at her all day long.

Everyday she seems to learn and notice something new and I can't wait to see what she finds next!
