Despite what you make think after reading last week's post, there are some serious drawbacks to moving to South Carolina... one in particular: no one I love lives there! This will change August 26th (the date Matt is planning on moving so he can start his new job the beginning of September). However until then, let's go back to my previous statement about the ugly truth concerning South Carolina and it's lack of familiar faces. Here are the facts:Distance from my parents: 503 miles
Distance from Matt's parents: 289 miles
Distance from my sister, our friends, our church, our current life: 434 miles
Distance from Gran and the Thanksgiving turkey: 545 miles
Those are scary numbers! Looks like my new life will include a lot more road trips!

Ummmmm...There are 2 people that you love very much only about 80 miles away. Just take 77 N to Charlotte and the Bitters will welcome you with open arms. Plus don't think that were not going to be knocking on the door almost the instant you move in. We are definitely going to have to make sure we are at the USC UK bball game in person. Love it that you are coming to SC!
