First of all... thank you for all of your prayers for a quick sale on our house. While we were relaxing at the beach with our closest friends all week (more pictures and updates on the trip to come later), our home sweet home was busy attracting new owners! Exactly one week after we put the house on the market we got our first offer, and after some negotiating we had reached an agreement by the next afternoon!Here we are getting ready to go out to dinner to celebrate that worry # 1 about moving was resolved in eight easy days:
Even if we hadn't just sold our first home, we'd probably look happy in this picture no matter what, look at the beautiful ocean view from our deck! It seemed fitting that we received the news of our home sale while we were vacationing in South Carolina, our future home state. The fact that our house sold so fast confirms for me that this move is supposed to happen and that God really is in control of all the details and as long as we continue to ask for guidance He will direct our steps through this transition.
Our closing is scheduled for September 30th so the hunt has begun for a new home! Stay tuned!

Sept 30th is a good day, John and I will be celebrating our 32 anniversary that day.
