Happy Easter everyone! Even though it's a holiday weekend we didn't really do much different from a normal weekend- errands, laundry, playing outside, attending a birthday party, and going to church- but that was fine with me. Kate got a haircut, her first professional one, and she looked extra spiffy for Easter Sunday.
We also embraced springtime by planting some tomatoes, putting out flower boxes on the front porch, and hanging some ferns. Kate, as usual, was an eager helper and Luke is always just excited to be part of the action as well.

Church this morning was a wonderful celebration of the Good News of the empty tomb. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and remember that Christ is risen, Christ is risen indeed!
