We knew that Kate and Adam and Sarah's little cutie, Laing would be good friends, but during their first few visits together Kate was too small, immobile, and boring to offer any entertainment for Laing.
Yesterday however, we witnessed the beginning of a beautiful friendship. The girls played together all afternoon, really well! They crawled after one another, swung in the hammock together, shared books and toys, played peek-a-boo around corners of furniture and giggled with glee. It was adorable! We even made it through the whole day without any tantrums or meltdowns from either child!

I know we are going to love watching these two grow up together and get into all kinds of mischief and fun with each other. It's perfect that all of Matt's old roommates have daughters (baby girl #4 due to join Ellie, Laing and Kate this month!) and makes reunions with our college friends fun for both parents and kids alike.
