One of the best things about having a kid has got to be that you get to be a kid again yourself. For example, it would be creepy if two grown adults spent a lovely Sunday afternoon playing on playground... but if you bring a small human with you it's completely acceptable and a great time for all involved!
Kate loved all the slides and the see saw. Sadly there were no swings. (Why!? We have been to several playgrounds and none of them have swings anymore. I know Kate would love to swing if given the chance.)

At the top, excited about taking another trip down

My big girl

Wheeeeee! Here comes Kate!
|
Learning about static electricity, as if her hair isn't crazy enough already!
We also walked down by the lake and our super friendly baby waved to the water, waved to the trees, waved to the sky... she had a great time greeting everything like a tiny politician.

Hello Lake Murray! It's me, Baby Kate!

Hi! This is my favorite way to take in nature with a bird's eye view!
I remember when I was a kid we often spent Sunday afternoons walking and playing in parks, and I'm looking forward to doing it again. Just another reason to love fall, great weather to spend time outside with my family!
We have TWO swings at our house....just sayin'.....

The no swings thing is weird. SC is NOT baby friendly!!
