Here are some snapshots from the past few weeks of Kate exploring, learning, and playing with her friends.
As you can tell, she's all smiles and there's always some new toy or playmate to discover. Today Kate was relocated from the infant side of the room to the mobile baby side. She wasn't the oldest on the infant side, but because she is crawling, pulling up, and moving all over the place she graduated. As a super eager and destructive little monkey, it's probably in the best safety interest for the babies who can't move as well yet that Kate is now among peers who can keep up or run away from her attacks.
We went to a double baby shower on Saturday (for Kate's future buddies Ellie and Ella) and I was talking to a friend of ours who's baby just started daycare last week. As expected, she was having a difficult time being away from her son. I remember how awful that first week was for me back in April and it makes seeing how happy she is there even sweeter now.

She looks happy, but I have to say she always looks happy.
ReplyDeleteCan hardly wait to see her.
