Happiness

One of the best things about having kids is being able to relive the pure and simple joys of childhood.  We have our share of grumpy and whiny moments, but most of the time, Kate and Luke are infectiously happy and bring such joy, wonder, and excitement to each day.  Our little family makes me smile.

One of our favorite playgrounds in Columbia is downtown at Elmwood Park, and the zipline is always a blast... for all of us, haha.  After a busy first week of school and settling into our new routines, a Saturday of family fun at the park was the perfect weekend activity.

Our first full week of Elementary School has been a huge success, Kate loves her new school and I have been super proud of both kiddos with how easily they have adjusted to the new routine.  I'm looking forward to the long weekend ahead to spend some time with my favorite little folks who remind me constantly of what a wonderful life we get to live.
