We love having visitors, if you are a regular reader who has not been to hot and lovely city of Columbia, South Carolina lately (or ever!), then please know that you are more than welcome and we'd love to show you some of our favorite spots around town. Last week we could barely contain our excitement (seriously, the kids went wild) when Oma and Opa showed up for a few days of fun.
Hopscotch, bubble blowing, brownie baking, dramatic story reenactments, card games, painting, and giggles filled our days.
On Saturday we went to the zoo and saw the new baby gorilla, baby giraffe, and all three baby lion cubs.
Our summer is winding down and the countdown for Kate's first day of school is down to 8 days! With so much change and busyness on the horizon it was really sweet to have a family filled weekend together making great memories.
