Best of Beach Weekend

We were really looking forward to this weekend, and it definitely did not disappoint. Pete, Laura, and sweet baby Ellie came down for a visit. Ellie even arrived in an appropriate, adorable South Carolina palmetto onesie! Here's a recap of the weekend's best moments...

Best weather: Folly Beach- blue sky, low humidity, and perfect ocean water temperatures

Best lunch spot: Taco Boy, the tradition continues
Best luck: On a busy beach weekend we somehow found a parking spot right in front of Taco Boy, a spot on the street at the entrance to the public beach park, a vacant beach umbrella and chairs, and a parking spot and empty table at Poe's Tavern. There were crowds and traffic everywhere yet somehow everything kept going our way!

Best spot to take a nap: Under an umbrella on the beach with the warm breeze and calming sound of crashing waves, who can blame Ellie? I could've fallen asleep too it was so relaxing! Best quote: "My pancreas is full of jealousy." -Matt, in a Luxembourgish accent making fun of Andy Schleck

It was weird going back to work today after such a fun filled mini-vacation this weekend. I love that we're close enough to the beach that day trips are possible, and I love it even more when we have friends to go with us. Come back anytime Crawfords!
