Spring Invitation

This week has been a delightful, warm preview of spring and of course we spend as much time outside as we can.  Today it was 85 degrees, and yes, the kids got soaked playing with the water table and garden hose at Colton's house this afternoon.  February in South Carolina is great.

Last weekend was great too because we had Grammie and Granddaddy in town!  We love having visitors, seriously, if you're reading this and have ever even slightly considered coming to see us... you should do it.  Soon.  We know where all the best playgrounds are, we have lots of fun puzzles and games, there are usually snacks in my bag, and most importantly we'd love to see you.  This could be you, squished in the back of the tiny train at the zoo:

You, too, could pose with this orangutan and these two polite, lovely small humans:

Have you ever wanted to ride a dinosaur?

Or maybe you aspire to be a daredevil like Kate and her Grammie (perhaps that is where she gets it from?) and zoom across this chasm of lava (or mulch, but you should really work on having the imagination of a five year old if that is all you see).

Kate would also be happy to boss you around on her "train" as she takes you on an adventure:

Can't wait to see you soon and show you how fun spring in Columbia can be!
