Vacation 2017

After months of looking forward to it, our fantastic week at the beach with family has now come and gone.  It was exactly what I imagined- hours of fun in the sun, playing in the sand, splashing in the pool, riding bikes, and enjoying time with Oma, Opa, cousin Hannah, Aunt Claudia, and Uncle Stephen on Wild Dunes.

The family fun stared over a week ago when we had a chance to take Claudia, Stephen, and Hannah to the Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia before heading down to the coast.  It is one of our favorite Saturday morning activities and we loved showing them around.

Before checking in to our condos we stopped by the Mt. Pleasant Waterfront Park and then it was off to the island to meet up with Oma and Opa and kick off the vacation.

We took tons of pictures, and I think they do actually speak for themselves showing what an awesome week we had together.  Scroll through and enjoy a glimpse of life at the beach (mermaids! boogie boarding! date nights! cousin love! so many sweet memories...)

The threat of Hurricane Irma cut the trip a little short, but minus one rainy Wednesday, we really did have amazing weather all week long.  Until next time, Wild Dunes!
