I'm sure you have heard the phrase, "Friends are the family you choose." Ever since moving we have tried really hard to stay in touch with our Kentucky friendmily, the Crawfords. Beach weeks, impromptu final four weekend visits (um, that was before babies), mountain cabin rentals, and our new favorite cost effective option- Oak Ridge Reunions at the Wheeler B and B!

John and Peggy are conveniently located about halfway and the most gracious, laid back hosts who welcome the chaos that comes along with four kids ages five and under and four adults who still act like kids when we are together.
It was a lazy weekend, we let the kids burn some energy on a few playgrounds, ate pizza at Big Ed's, watched basketball, played games, and enjoyed seeing Ellie, Kate, Caroline, and Luke become better buddies.

| Posing in a tree stump, as one does |
 |
| I spy Ellie! |

| Mad monkey bar skills |
 |
| Swinging siblings |
 |
| Beauty Counter mask fun with Laura and Peggy (who was smart enough to avoid the camera) once the kiddos were asleep |
Before we started our trip on Friday, we turned Luke's car seat around to be forward facing. He loved it so much that he hardly napped, he was too busy relaxing, laid back, enjoying the view of the open road and finally being able to watch the in car entertainment instead of just listening to movies.

| Just chilling |

| Kate has seen this movie a few hundred times, she took advantage of the rhythmic napping conditions |
It was great to see old friends, it was great to see grandparents, it was great to have a weekend away from the weekend chores. I know we will do it again!

| Snuggle buddies Caroline and Luke. This is the cutest thing ever. |
John and I love having company and the more the merrier.
